Meet Tom. Over 7 years cumulative experience as a leader in the sports & fitness industry. In addition to his certifications, he is a lululemon athletica brand ambassador and competitive athlete who used to live by the slogan “Yoga, run, ice cream.” Since his marathon days are over, this has changed to “Yoga, CrossFit, more ice cream”. Tom started coaching CrossFit in 2013 and has continued the pursuit of knowledge to be able to deliver the best experience to the athletes whom he coaches.

Andy Schabetsberger
Andy SchabetsbergerOwner and General Manager
Meet Andy. Andy has over 8 years of leadership and management experience in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Logistics Officer, getting his hands on everything from overseeing operations & administration of large teams & organizations and hands on work in event coordination. In addition, he remained a competitive Triathlete and developed & coached a Tactical Athlete Club, which focused on functional strength and conditioning movements. Andy is passionate about fitness and takes pride in ensuring quality service is delivered to everyone that walks into the gym.

Yannick Haineault
Yannick HaineaultCoach
Meet Yannick. After graduating from high school, unsure of his next move, he decided to take a course at the YMCA. During this course, he also became a personal trainer. In 2013, he landed his first job in this field working as a CrossFit trainer. He then realised how much he loved coaching and training so in 2014, he returned to school and obtained a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology. This 3-year degree is based on the science of human movement and physical activity for improved health, prevention and performance. During his degree, he opted for the performance path, as a trainer mainly for athletes and teams of different levels and from different sports. Several internships have enabled him to have the necessary skills and ensured him that he is in the right field. Currently, Yannick continues to work as a CrossFit coach and also has a few client athletes from various sports.

Megan Hooker
Megan HookerAthletic Therapist
Meet Megan. Growing up in a small town, playing sports was what kept Megan occupied. Her passion for rugby and soccer outshone the rest and she played both for 10+ years and coached both sports as well. When she found the Exercise Science program at Concordia University specializing in athletic therapy, she knew it was for her – Muscles and sports together!

Megan has been a certified athletic therapist since June 2011 and has worked with numerous sports teams (hockey, CrossFit, rugby, soccer, etc.) at different levels ranging from recreational athletes to professional athletes.

Her passion is teaching athletes about their body and how to take care of it so that they can be at their best and do what they love pain free. She assesses and rehab’s acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries using myofascial release, soft tissue work, k-taping, and rehab exercises.

Megan has a sound understanding of the movements performed in CrossFit so she can help you avoid movements that could slow down recovery without having to stop your training completely!

Christiane Ghorayeb
Christiane GhorayebCoach, Personal Trainer & Social Media Manager
Meet Christiane. Sports had always been an important part of her life and she kept herself busy competing in Figure Skating & playing AAA soccer throughout high school. After graduating in Public Relations from McGill University, Christiane started a full time job working for a food chain behind a desk in the internal communications department. After 3 longs years she soon realized that something was missing. With minimal time to join a sports team or club, Christiane started training at a gym doing a regular gym program and again found that something was missing. That was until she found CrossFit where she rediscovered her passion for sport, loved working out with her gym buddies, enjoyed the hustle required for each workout and the element of the unknown in the workout programming! It was not too long after that she realized she had a passion for helping people with their fitness goals so she decided to become a Personal Trainer. After completing 3 years of coaching, the National Academy of Sports Medicine Certification and the CrossFit Level 1 Certification, she is excited to coach at CrossFit Westmount and share her passion for fitness with others!

Trevor Davies
Trevor DaviesEndurance Coach & Personal Trainer
Meet Trevor. Trevor is an endurance coach and personal trainer and has coached numerous endurance teams and athletes in cross-country running, track and triathlon at different levels ranging from recreational to collegiate.  He has worked with people of all ages and skill levels, from kid-triathletes to active seniors in their 70’s.

He enjoys working with people who have the desire to improve themselves, whether it be to run a 5-km race, or simply be comfortable performing everyday tasks.    His background is well-suited for people wanting to improve and be competitive in the areas of running, biking and swimming and he brings a range of experience from his many years as an athlete, a coach, a mechanical engineer, and a naval officer in the CAF.
